Josh Groban Accidentally Picks Shyest Girl in Audience for Duet, But Is Amazed When She Begins Singing!

December 12, 2016 - By Patricia J. Herring

Josh Groban got his first big break in 1998 at the Grammy Awards when he stood in for an ailing superstar Andrea Bocelli. That night, he sang Foster’s “The Prayer” with Celine Dion… and the rest is history. He’s now a superstar and frequently tops charts as one of the most recognizable singers in the world. His four solo albums have been certified multi-platinum, in 2007 he was charted as the number-one best selling artist in the United States, and his concerts are constantly packed with people from all over the world!

But concert-goers don’t just listen to Groban’s beautiful music, they’re sometimes asked to share some music themselves! Groban has made a habit of picking out people from the audience to sing an impromptu duet with him, and– in the video below– the girl he picks blew everyone away.

In the video, Groban selects a very shy girl out of the crowd in Montreal, Quebec. She seems nervous at first, and possibly not up to the task of the duet, but the moment she begins to sing my heart skipped a beat. This girl sounds angelic!

Check out their incredible duet below. Groban was just as surprised as we were!
